I always assumed the Chris was into cars, he had so many songs about cars and roads; but I had no idea that he had actually raced in the British Touring Car Championships, and was in Eddie Irvine's F1 Pit Crew in 1995!

Gutted to hear Chris Rea has died. One of my late dad's favourite artists and I have so many fond memories of listening to dancing with strangers on the way to Goodison for years and years in my dad's car.
