I didn’t know the Kingfisher was called Icebird in German and Dutch. It seems they’re not easy to spot in the Netherlands. I happened to see one on the Hamble many years ago. I wonder if any are still there now the country park has so many visitors? #RiverHamble

Fantastic work currently taking place on the #RiverHamble. A chalk streams which only flows at high groundwater levels, dry since the summer last year, its great to see the water slowly returning to this #Winterbourne enabling us to see the impacts of the restoration work.
