We're indoors, in a small room with a tropical, colonial feel to it thanks to the decor. A white wall and ceiling are across the small space from us, angled slightly so that we're almost looking into the corner of the room where a decorative urn with Greek or Roman-style figures in relief on its white exterior hosts a tall plant, possibly a type of thin, green bamboo with plenty of spear-point leaves branching off its tips. The plant reaches almost to the ceiling and its deep green contrasts nicely with the white wall and the small, square, terracotta tiles on the floor. A shaft of muted sunlight reaches across the tiles from the right somewhere to illuminate one half of the urn. A small pot with a plant with larger leaves sits on the floor against the wall to the left of the urn and left again is a small stand made from cane and wicker supporting another pot and another small plant. There's a small, framed, faded painting of a beach scene with distant island on the wall above that. Central in the wall there is a rectangular sash window with each of the two panes further split into four equal panes of glass within thin frames. The glass is misted up, perhaps a deliberate measure, perhaps a result of the humid climate and relative cool of the interior, but we can see it's bright outside with green grass beneath water then dark hills and finally the white sky.
