Almost forgot my daily-ish rock. Mazatlan, Mexico. Is that rhyolite? Because there's an entire colorful hill of that. Sadly, I could not climb down to touch the incredible breccia at one of the beaches in town.

What is this besides as agate? Found in a gravel pile Alabama Rainbow mix, lots of chert, agate, fossils. It’s the pattern on the surface that throws me. I can’t tell if it is related to the agate bands. #agate #fossils #rockhounds #rockhoundadventures #urbangeology #agates #rockhounds
