Air France graphic by Mr Roger Excoffon it is 6 brush strokes of bluish white against a background colour of rich deep blue. "AIR FRANCE" in capitals is in the bottom right hand square segment - perfectly centred in its notional "box" on the canvas. Stroke One long right to left increased pressure splits the stroke. Stroke Two 3/4 along 1st line there is a sweep line from the 1st - paint thickened it sweeps up to form the tailplane and flourishes down Stroke 3 to 1st line and back up again Stroke 4. Stroke 5 and 6 from the wings the left hand wing has paint dominance; suggesting it was the same paint load that flourished the right hand wing that fades into the background quickly. Arguably suggestive of the "plane" banking to its right.

On #HIGNFY last night, Mr #PaulMerton wore a silver lapel badge that minded me of this stunningly simple 1964 #AirFrance graphic by Mr #RogerExcoffon

It'd be nice to know about Mr Merton's badge all the same. 🙂
