Another happy score at the swap meet yesterday is this original 1965 mono pressing of "Rip, Rig & Panic" by The Roland Kirk Quartet w/ Elvin Jones on drums and Jaki Byard on piano. I've only had a not so great Scorpio single-pocket reissue.This has the original spiffy gatefold with 3D fold-out liner notes that Limelight Records was doing around this time. A smoker, this is another 5buc score. Not perfect but neither are any on Discogs going for about 15 times more. Can't complain.
