There was a lot of discourse around #HongSuzu and #LeeShinyoung during #MoonRiver. I wasn’t fond of their characters, but I’d like to see her in a #KBS daily or weekend drama as a villain à la #ParkHana. He was stronger in #CaptivatingTheKing and #RookieCops.

#RookieCops started as a very bright and fun youth drama, full of hopes and romance. THEN! At the beginning of the third act, it took a hard left that was IMO unnecessary. The resolution to the main case and the drama as a whole was rushed but somewhat good.

#RookieCops and #PoliceUniversity both have a likable bunch of students, great OSTs & a central crime story. RC incorporates the latter thru out the drama, while PU dedicates 4 eps later to it, which may seem jarring from earlier tone. Both dramas end with similar feels.
Thought I'd neatly finish up #RookieCops today for a nice easy-breezy watch, and then #RookieCopsEp14 happened.
The Korean national police university needs to get better quality post-it notes.
