Multi-panel artwork that includes some sonic-style OCs. The first panel features a potential 'meetcute' interaction between Neon [the Echidna] and Chester/"Chet" [the Lemur] at a bar counter. Neon watches in amusement as Chet slides along the counter to approach her with a goofy grin and a corny pick-up line: "This seat's not taken is it, Miss Pretty-in-pink~? ❤" It's implied that Chet is very tipsy, and a moment away from falling over... ...Which happens in a second aside panel of the bar scene. Neon glances down at Chet's fall to the floor with concern ("Are you okay??"); while the bartender, Rosco [the Bat], looks on in sympathy and offers to help ("I'll get some ice... and painkillers"). Meanwhile, Chet's lies uncomfortably on the floor, but manages to give Neon a thumbs-up ("Allllll good, gorgeous~"). The last aside panel displays Chet and Neon in their round spin dash forms, reminiscent of the Sonic games. As they make contact with an indirect 'kiss,' Chet's form blushes and his fur raises up in excitement.

This displays Rosco's human / gijinka form from the waist up, where he wears a brown and black waistcost over his white shirt; a black tie; and white gloves. He grins as he casually flips a cocktail shaker in one gloved hand, and prepares an empty cocktail glass on the counter with his other.

Paintover of an older reference sheet of my character Roscuro/Rosco, this time in his Sonic-style form as a bat ("Roscuro the Bat"). In this form Rosco appears as an anthropomorphic fruit bat with tan and brown fur, and dark (near-black) indigo wings and ears. He wears a black collar with a gold ring pendant; a pair of white gloves on his hands; and a pair of white spats on his legs -- but without shoes, so his hind claws can peek through.

I first drew these refs when I created Rosco in 2017 and they aged so quickly -- not from my art style, but from some v. inaccurate details.

I finally gave both a paintover, and now I can proudly display these refs for my bartender bat again!

Rosco, drowsily: "I overslept." Soleil: (smiling with sweatdrop emoji) Ricki, exasperated: "It's 4:30 in the afternoon." Ricki and Rosco are mine, while Soleil belongs to @littlescorpio.bsky.social.
