My #Roseworld sequel has been stalled for lots of reasons, the main being I’m heading into major revelation & #AllIsLost moment, so I’m trying to figure the exact right sequence for maximum impact.

These navigation tools are from the wrong time period but still inspiring. #RoseWorld #inspiration.

I may be at a work conference but it’s still inspiring my 3rd novel in the #RoseWorld fairy tale retelling series that starts with Awake. These boats might make an appearance…
Looking up, a light shines through the water, casting a school of fish in shadow.
Just doing some research for the 3rd instalment of my #RoseWorld series.
Couldn’t write during the kid’s basketball time so worked through possible summer plans. It’s so early but I need to be ready for Feb 4th to sign up for things in Jul and Aug.
Now, back to plotting a 4 book series that has absolutely nothing to do with my current #RoseWorld #Fantasy series.
The intro to a Rose World Tale about being brave and losing teeth. Ogre style. Rose World Tusks (an ogre tale) “I have to lose my teeth?” He asked, hating the rise in his youthful voice. He swallowed, forcing his voice back to normal. The healer chuckled. “Let me just grab my pliers!” He turned around and pulled out a pair of iron scissors with flat ends in leather gloves linked with sheep’s wool. “No, father!” He said, jumping up and away from the healer. “Those are iron! Iron is bad for us!” He shuddered, fearing the flash of heat from them metal. To read more, subscribe to my newsletter at hcfitzpatrick.com
Hi friends, my #newsletter Fitzpatrick’s Fables has a link to a new fable tied into my fantasy universe: Rose World. This one is about a young ogre who has to have his teeth pulled to make room for grownup tusks. You can access all my older fables there too.

Was inspired to write a new #RoseWorld #Fable while at the dentist yesterday with my kid. It’s about ogre tusks.
It will be available Saturday for my newsletter subscribers when Fitzpatrick’s Fables goes out.

Was in the zone writing during the kid’s basketball practice yesterday but had to abandon my hero in the midst of a battle to deal with a very real bloody nose due to poor blocking.
Kid is fine. I guess we know what they’re practicing next.
My hero’s not.

Rose World Logo. A fable about grief. Bears didn’t always sleep through the winter. One long winter night, close to the solstice, a young mother bear woke up from the trembling ground. She raced to wake up her children, but before she could reach them, the walls tumbled down around them. The floor dropped out from under her, and she fell out of the cave, into the new moon sky. Just a little reminder that if you sign up for my newsletter #FitzpatricksFables @ hcfitzpatrick.com, @ the end of the month I give a code to unlock a new fable from my #RoseWorld fantasy series. There are 3 already.
Here’s a sample of the one releasing tomorrow, about #Grief.

It’s been 25 days since I posted to my #BrainstormRoad group my WIP, but this month has been the admin month. Taxes, branding, work, parenting. But still wrote 1600 words after scrapping some, plus an additional 1500 words of #RoseWorld fables for my newsletter subscribers.
It was a good month.
