Day 10: Bond Eliara and Aymeric felt a sense of déjà vu standing there. The skies clear with the late afternoon sun didn’t help matters either. At the very least, arriving at the Vault this time resulted in an ending much more favorable compared to previously. Aymeric saw his beloved, who kept looking at the spot where Profane Fanfnir once stood, absentmindedly fiddling with the handle of her rapier. It was then and there that he made his decision.

Back when Eliara was with the Rogues, she went as far as putting on light disguises for whenever she went around Limsa Lominsa in civilian clothes. The outings were rare as it is, since she typically just asked someone else to procure whatever she wishes. Usually head/face coverings, different clothing pieces, the like. It's mainly just to keep herself “hidden” since, at the time, she’d rather be unknown and nonexistant outside of the Rogues. Present day, Eliara is known for her sense of fashion: Always seeming to know what to wear and when it’s best to wear it. People don’t realize that this also extends to her ability to disguise herself. And combining that with her habit of code switching means that she really did end up becoming a chameleon, even if unintentionally. Which then leads into a major factor in why, when she started as an adventurer in Gridania, she really seemed like she simply came out of nowhere to so many people. And any attempts in doing any sort of background search would only lead to smoke. (Unless you’re Thancred, but the man’s built different.)
