Valentione’s Thoughts This is a fun event for Eliara’s lore due to the Gridanian + Ishgardian connections. Astrid and Emilie consider Eliara as a sort of older sister figure. It’s headcanon’d that House Valentione is at least somewhat associated with House Haillenarte due to the shared rose imagery. So it is likely that House Roselle has also worked with Valentione sometime in the past. Rolanberry is Eliara’s favorite fruit, so the cakes being primarily rolanberry as its “main” cake brings a certain amount of joy for her. An additional manor within the Twelveswood that’s not a Haukke Manor brings some credence that other similar structures exist depending on their histories. Which meant that it remains plausible that a property like the Roselle Estate to exist and left alone aside from Dieudonne caretaking it. Hikishi’s also involved due to the Goldsmith Guild’s involvement with the baker mammets. She’s super tempted to simply punt the mammets during the duty, but Serendipity says nooooooooooooo.
I’m blaming the fact that I’m a bit caffeinated with a lot of downtime while not being at home right now cause I’m spewing out lore thoughts regarding this year’s Valentione’s and how it relates to my damn blorbos like my brain is rotating in the microwave

Also toying with the idea that Hikishi's father's clan utilizes dogs both as trusted pets and companions in the field.
Which does result in having the doggos, both big and small, inclining to follow her around. They recognize her as family.

I’ve somewhat have Hikishi spoken in more casual and “modern” to reflect how very informal her speech is due to working in a blue collar environment. There is also a LOT of coarse language as another result of it.
