The infamous water tower gap ollie by Jeremy Wray The 40-foot-high Rowland Heights water towers feature a 16-foot gap. In 1997, California skater Jeremy Wray defied death and ollied into history. Nobody has ever tried it again.

Failing to clear the 16-foot gap would result in a 40-foot fall. The photographer had his phone pre-dialed to 911, but Jeremy Wray overcame the nerves and made it to the other side.
