This October, #SB120 finally ended this harmful practice. By eliminating public defender fees and fees for court payment plans, Nevada is advancing equity, restoring trust, and ensuring that access to justice isn’t conditioned on a person’s ability to pay.

#GaPol senators are really on a roll today. After stripping funding for kids in poverty from the budget, they just stripped ( #HB127) which would increase accumulated leave for teachers to replace it with a broad sweeping DEI Ban #SB120 which would defund schools and universities across the state.
