Had a fantastic few days in Edinburgh: met lots of lovely people, had so much fun working with the brilliant organising committee, & I'm leaving with a brain crammed full of new ideas about stem cell models! 🤯

Fab first day at the Stem Cell Models of Neurodegeneration conference in Edinburgh! 🧠 #SCMND So many exciting talks, and I really enjoyed presenting my poster with the work from the first year of my PhD! Looking forward to the rest of the conference! 🧫🧠

Very cool talk by @andreaserio.bsky.social about axon modelling and how much size matters at #SCMND. Lots of food for thought on neurite outgrowth and the influence of cell morphology on disease phenotypes.

Come by poster #34 at #SCMND to see some cool pictures of Lewy Pathology in cortical and dopaminergic neurons! 😁🧫

(And learn about how Lewy bodies form, what effect they have on cells, and what cell characterisrics make them vulnerable and resilient in AD and PD 🙂)
