Tankschlacht by Revolution Games on the Battle of Cambrai in 1917. Lots of tanks breaking down! No #bgg entry yet. I had to re-do the logging of Microverse as it now has a page on #boardgamegeek and is on p500 pre-order at #GMTGames

#SDHIST is an historical board game con and Rock Hard 77 is an historical game so it fits, right? 🤪
I taught RH77 three times over the weekend. All players picked it up well and enjoyed the gameplay.

Although I was there as part of the #WargameBootcamp I did get to play test an upcoming game for Revolution Games. This was Tankschlacht on the #WW1 battle of Cambrai in November 1917. I played the British side, of course. Half of my tanks broke down by the end of the first day but I had unleashed the cavalry who were in the vanguard by day 2. To green fields beyond!
I even managed to get the rulebook for Campaign Manager 2008 autographed by co-designer Jason Matthews.

It was a treat to play one of my old, mostly-unknown favorites from Ragnar Bros at #sdhist. Kings & Castles is from 2000, shows its age in production, but has still-innovative gameplay.
Last day of #sdhist . Started with a demo of Night Witches, designed by @beyondsolitaire.bsky.social & @djackthompson.bsky.social , coming from @fortcircle.bsky.social . I was Harold’s wingwoman, and we got the job done. Now I’m going down the internet rabbit hole about this fascinating subject.
