Our flat used to be a raw material storage room for Epps & Co Steam Cocoa Mills, according to this original 1878 print that arrived today. Epps processed half of all cocoa imported into the UK at this site at the time, around five million pounds of cocoa or 15 million packs of cocoa powder. #SE1 🍫🗃️
