I had a feeling Yukio would pull something like this - transferring himself over to the escape pod. He loves his buddy Tetsuo too much to pull off the heroic sacrifice in full.

I think it's trying to be a funny faces show, but the faces just aren't that good.

The fight after the robot returned was kinda cool, but the OP had basically spoiled that was going to happen sooner rather than later.

Feels like this should have been where the first episode ended. Or at least the second episode. Wouldn't save it from how uninspired it is, though. I want to give this a chance, but it's not turning out good.

-Good ep.
-Tetsuo having to deal with a kaiju without a weapon for a while was decent drama.
-Yukio/escape pod saving Tetsuo from the Kaiju was a fun moment.
-Tetsuo & Yukio finishing off the Kaiju was a fun scene.
-That villager's reaction was interesting.
