Just finished Solito, a heart-wrenching memoir about Javier Zamora emigrating from El Salvador to the US when he was a young boy.
I highly recommend this book. We need stories like this, now more than ever.

This memoir took my breath away.
Javier’s words, colors, and inquiries sing to all the right notes, then some. I was in the trucks, on the shore, in the ocean, and tucked into Chino's jacket as the fish flew by.
Thank God for the blessing of poets writing prose.
