It’s time to reimagine Stone Avenue, a dangerous SCDOT road that—along with Academy Street—separates downtown Greenville from the North Main neighborhood. Just imagine if Stone had wider sidewalks, protected bike lanes, and only two lanes of car traffic with a center median.

I’d prefer « #StreetsAreForPeople activists », a positive message tends to resonate better. I think even @thewaroncars.bsky.social would agree that the war is against prioritising cars over people and against a system that promotes car dependency over healthier, cheaper and nicer alternatives.
