Dragon HRT by @ayvie.bsky.social started out in my eyes as a silly comic about dragons but quickly grew into so much more. It’s helped me discover and be comfortable with so much of myself, and meet so many wonderful people. It’s bittersweet to see it end, but what an ending.

I’m still extremely early in my art journey. I had to do at least something.

My contribution to #sabineflyover and celebrating the formal conclusion of the #DragonHRT comic.
Never have I expected to befriend many new people within this past year. This comic singlehandedly changed and touched so many of us.
Also spoiler for my story's timeline: this is around 17 months in
#DragonHRT gave me the community I so desperately sought, and gave me the inspiration to create once more. A #Sabineflyover is only fitting as tribute.
Minor spoilers for my storyline, as this is years ahead of where my story currently is.
Well, decided to also make a #Sabineflyover
#DragonHRT is the reason I met MANY wonderful creatures, and truly changed my life, also gave me the inspiration to make my own comic, which ended up causing me to gain quite a bit of followers on some platforms.

I might've failed in my own go at a series and moved onto different paths, but the culmination of #DragonHRT and the emergence of the #Sabineflyover collaboration were too moving for me to not do SOMETHING.
From beginning to end, the project was close to my heart, and I am grateful as a witness. <3

i may have not directly been part of the animal hrt community, but i’ve loved reading others’ stories. the one that started it all ending now is so surreal, but it’ll always be remembered fondly
