Honestly, I wasn't a fan of the new characters, and the pacing didn't help (it was way too slow for me to get into the story).
For a sec, I thought this book wouldn't be as good as the first, but then the new story kicked in and I was hooked.

Hoping Santa Montefiore makes the leap to Blue Sky. One of my favorite authors. She wrote a book called Here and Now. It is about dementia. I read it several times while my mom was alive. She also has other excellent books.
