The base of Minots Ledge Light and a side view of the ladder and entryway. The ladder starts a few feet below the high water line, but currently a foot or two above the sea, and goes about 24 feet straight up the side of the tower to a metal platform with hand rails. The very hazy Cohasset shoreline is visible on the horizon, and the lighthouse is reflected darkly on the water in the foreground.
