As you may have seen, the Culra Bothy, along #ScottishHillTrack route 155, has now been demolished. There is currently no shelter at all in the vicinity. Work will begin this year on a replacement structure. The Mountain Bothies Association (MBA) is welcoming any donation to support this.

#ScottishHillTrack route 221 from Glenbuchat (Strathdon) to Cabrach is between the upper reaches of the Rivers Don and Deveron. It crosses high, featureless ground where paths and tracks are barely discernible in places, so good navigational skills are required in poor conditions.
