A wooden bridge leads to the gatehouse of Dirleton Castle. Despite being in Scotland, the sky is clear and sunny.
Today's #MomentofTranquility: Scotland's Dirleton Castle. Building began in 1240, Cromwell's army attacked it in 1650 and badly damaged it. The ruins were made into a central garden feature in the 1660's. Certainly better than a garden gnome.
