I don't think supplies/foodstuffs were even part of this calculation, but that just proves my point: that he hasn't considered it yet.

Ryland Grace (not kidding; that char name would get you lol'd out of a #Screenwriting101 class, & I should know) stares at the whiteboard, willing some part of his calculation to be wrong

I'm trying to figure out whether it's bc he didn't factor in that he could eat the dead people ๐Ÿค”

Michelle Brock: "So, what are you gonna do now?" And there are, like, four separate, distinct looks she gives to Tommy as she delivers these lines that I couldn't fit all of in this, or even capture properly with the screenshot/freeze-frame tech I'm working with, which is why ofc you should SEE THIS FILM! If you've made it this far having never seen it, like, what are you even doing it? Go steal it from somewhere like idk maybe TheFlixer or some shit. I'm not going to do your crimes for you, man.

Tommy, earnestly, as both characters are in this scene: "I don't know."

Tommy is unafraid to not have the answer. Often, a trope in film is that the prince or King (figurative or literal) has to put on a stoic, Father-Knows-Best persona or demeanor, and Tommy may put on a good face for the company, but in private, with Michelle, he doesn't hesitate to tell her what's in and on his heart: "I don't know."

#Screenwriting101:

We're roughly 30mins into a 90min #film, and we've had the #incitingincident (dumb name for it, but that's what we call it, #lol) and here at the end of Act 1, 'So, what are you gonna do now?' and the honest answer, 'I don't know.'

Structurally, it's TIGHT and DENSE

Theme of the film is what makes it relatable to an audience and not just a single person. Genre defines what kind of emotions the audience can expect before coming to a film. #screenwriting101

Why is it that when folks are burying a body on TV the ground is free of rocks, isn't compacted, and is high in organic matter?

Have the writers never buried a body in the middle of the woods?
