A stunning telescopic view of NGC 134, a spiral galaxy in the Sculptor constellation, seen edge-on at a distance of 60 million light-years. Its warped disk and faint extensions suggest past gravitational interactions. The image also shows NGC 131, a smaller galaxy, and foreground stars from the Milky Way. NGC 134 is larger than our own Milky Way, showcasing a bright core, clumpy dust lanes, and loosely wrapped spiral arms with blue star clusters and pinkish star-forming regions.

Stunning image of NGC 253, the Silver Dollar Galaxy, a dusty starburst galaxy located 10 million light-years away in the Sculptor constellation. Its spiral arms and prominent dust lanes are clearly visible, showcasing its vibrant star formation regions and powerful x-ray/gamma ray emissions likely caused by a central black hole. Discovered by Caroline Herschel.
