Stunning image of NGC 253, the Silver Dollar Galaxy, a dusty starburst galaxy located 10 million light-years away in the Sculptor constellation. Its spiral arms and prominent dust lanes are clearly visible, showcasing its vibrant star formation regions and powerful x-ray/gamma ray emissions likely caused by a central black hole.
