And we're back! Due to waves almost twice my height, or endless torrential rain, we haven't managed a #seaswim since Christmas Eve. The water was f-f-freezing so we only dipped for five minutes today, but the sun was warm and we saw five Canada #geese flying overhead. What a glorious welcome.

Beaches were littered with vegetables and debris. As posted by @bhseafrontteam, be careful handling any waste in clean-up efforts; please dispose of waste in the large black bins along the seafront, including produce.

We were expecting the results to be higher following a day of heavy rain (approximately 11mm). There were no outfall alerts from Southern Water for these local beaches in the previous 48hr period.

Another great #seaswim. Moody skies, sunshine and bouncy waves - plus what felt like half the sea's worth of floating kelp strands and 'trees' wrapping around our legs. There was quite a pull, too, from the waves heading back out.
