80 years ago #OTD on the #MSJohnEricsson, my Grandpa got his telegram ready to send my Grandma when he arrived in the States. I meant to take a picture of it last night but forgot, but that's exactly what it said! I don't recall a Voyage Certificate, though.

80 years ago today my Grandpa set sail for home on the MS John Ericsson! He received a #SeaweedGazette each day he sailed that kept them updated with news, fun facts, and activities. The #RedCross "Doughnut Dollies" were among the crowd at the pier that saw them off.
