Heading back to 2003 on #sedimentarysunday to look at the Paleoproterozoic (~2.3 BYA) Gowganda Fm. This central Ontario 🇨🇦 outcrop shows a chaotic mixture of coarse granitic clasts in a finer matrix -- a classic glaciogenic diamictite. Nice summary here:
