Hi @Ermintrude2 these are the child and adult settings which will have to comply with the Mental Health Units (Use of Force) Act 2018 - once it commences (unlikely to be before Oct 2019). #SenisLaw
Still smiling that #SenisLaw passed in Commons on Friday. We've been v concerned about abusive (& unlawful) restraint in institutional settings for a long time. Our rights4children site includes information for children and young people:

So, the NHS is 70 today and tomorrow MPs have the chance to support a pioneering Bill to uphold the rights of child and adult patients. #SenisLaw has Third Reading on Friday 6th July. There is a real danger of repeat filibustering but 100 MPs working together could save the Bill.
This Friday 6 July, we need as many MPs as possible to support #SenisLaw. Last stage in Commons before heading to Lords. We are getting close to having first dedicated law to protect children & adults from abusive physical restraint. @HumanRightsCtte @timloughton @FloellaBenjamin
