Serenity Sam willbe Working Dogs Oregon's first alcohol and drug treatment center dog. In about one month Sam will be headed to the Central Willamette Valley to join the staff at a 110 bed treatment center. When patients are looking for every reason to leave treatment, our hope is Serenity Sam will give them a reason to stay! Just like with our law enforcement dogs, we never divulge the agency until those receiving the dog announce it first. We will make that announcement when the time is right. Just know that Sam will be a difference maker in a place filled with my own heroes of the community. This staff saves lives everyday! More than that, they save families! We are so excited to be a part of this incredible program!
