Regarding privacy, it's definitely critical for health professionals and patients. We definitely saw issues on Twitter. I do have concerns they may occur here too. Here was a viral hastag #ShareAStoryInOneTweet which had a lot of privacy violations www.jmir.org/2020/9/e19746/

I wrote these words a while back when I was working in the emergency department in Saipan. I find that the last couple sentences continue to resonate all too frequently in this job, the words bouncing around in my head like a recording looped and repeated.

With tears streaming down my face, I told you we did everything we could to save your son. You embraced me and said what I did was enough. Years after it happened, I still tear up whenever I think of you. #ShareAStoryInOneTweet #firstdeath #YouMadeMeAbetterDr

A 47 yr old I diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer returns for biopsy. His father says "Doc, I did appreciate you, but I'll always link you to my son's diagnosis. I don't want to ever see you again. Thanks". And he hands me a tray of home-made pastry.

You were dead. I got your heart beating again, but you asked to be disconnected from machines & meds. Said “but 1st call my family...& do you have cake?”

Chocolate cake crumbs & a smile on your face, you died peacefully with family. A beautiful death.

Your daughter was dying. You were so angry that you wouldn't let us in to round. I found a way for you to trust me so you let me in. When she died, you asked me to pray with you. It changed me forever and made me a real doctor. #ShareAStoryInOneTweet

Called on Friday at 5pm to fetal MRI unit. 35wk fetus with paraspinal tumor and lower limb paralysis. Emergency delivery, chemo on Day Of Life 1. Two years later he walked into my backyard as a surprise gift from his parents. Greatest joy ever as a doctor. #ShareAStoryInOneTweet

Small town. You came w a STEMI - lysed, ok. Then you arrested.

We got you back. No ACLS crew to take you to cath lab, so I went with you. You arrested 2x more before they stented your LAD.

In the ambulance back, you asked me if you could go home today.

Me: senior resident. You: 6 yo who called 911 for mom who collapsed. She died from massive PE. I bought you Bugles and a ginger ale and had the hardest conversation of my life. You said thank you. I’ve never met anyone braver. #shareastoryinonetweet

He was 11 when he & friends found a dead body outside while playing.

He was 12 when he watched his entire family die in the bombings.

He was 13 when he fled the country, alone.

He’s now 14. No home, no family, no hope. He doesn’t speak anymore.
