Me and Mr A at the start of Night of Neon. We're wearing hooded coats, neon t-shirts, and our race numbers. I'm holding my umbrella. It is pouring down with rain, but both of us have big smiles on our faces.

This year's Night of Neon 5k walk medal. It's sat on my purple tartan scarf.

It rained pretty hard, Ok, it hacked it down. But we completed the 5k walk and raised £70 for The Christie, Manchester's Cancer hospital.

The steel band, jazz groups, dance music with smoke machines and the neon dresses, hula and stilt volunteers were amazing.
