Traveling up this canyon, I turned a corner and saw this. One could skirt it by traversing along the ledge on the left, then scrambling up the rubble-filled crack to the left. I decided to leave it until the pool dries up a bit. Have a barrier-free day!

A narrow canyon with potholes of water.
This canyon ends at a big dryfall above the Colorado River. I was within about 100 yards of the dryfall when I encountered these full potholes. I stood there for a bit and considered, then decided that wading wasn't on today's agenda.

I encountered this seasonably appropriate Great Horned owl in a neighborhood slot canyon. I had to pan out to get this photo because I was standing at the edge of a 40' dryfall.
