Ever since I came back from #SievaToursEurope my gear hub is leaking. Makes me think it was damaged in transport. ๐
a ferry deck with a few people hanging arounda couple of bicycles, a car; the captain is waiting for a latge vessel (KESS, Seine Highway) to pass, guided by a pilot boat; a ferris wheel on the otger side of the water
Overall, I'm really satisfied with how this trip turned out. I managed to catch up with people I haven't seen in years (or ever!), I experienced not-so-familiar culture, I rode in beautiful places on really good bike infra and trains, I haven't had any major [โฆ]

a few low-rise appartment buildings between meandering paved walking paths and lawns, with bikes, tables, and trees here and there there are kids playing and riding bikes but no curbs or vehicles
a wide paved walking path surrounded by 3-storey apartment buildings, lawns, and street lights there's a people walking dogs
a slightly curved wall-like 7-storey building with parasols, tables, anf bicycles at the ground floor entrances, a wide paved walking path, lawns and trees, and a person riding a bicycle
While other tourists are taking endless pictures of canals and โcoffeeโ shops, this tourist fell in love with Funenpark.

That feeling when your tour guide also has 4 bikes, but because she's Dutch the use cases barely match ๐

a map that shows ridden roads on the north coast of Germany and through the Netherlands
a paved path that goes through a hilly and sandy area with grass, scrubs, and low trees theres a cow warning sign on the side of the path there's a cyclist approaching the camera on the patg
Yesterday was my last โplannedโ day of the tour!
I came back to Amsterdam exhausted after one of my longest rides, 130 km, which included fighting the headwind for the last ~40 while riding along the coast from the Hague. I haven't had any rest days โ didn't need [โฆ]

This is an open invitation to my president, Mr. Lukashenko, to join me for a chat at this beautiful building. I'll buy you a coffee.

There's one thing the Netherlands sucks at, and it is public bathrooms. There just aren't any.

I'm feeling like such a nerd but I'm going to ride an entire tram line because trams are cool (despite what the โbuses are cheap and easyโ crowd thinks ๐)

2 bikes parked next to a brick wall of townhouses with a bush of roses(?) changing off the wall
a narrow pedestrian street with low-rise brick buildings on sides, people walking, a rastaurant on the ground floor of one of the buildings, with a canopy and covered in leaves, light poles, a tree
a bridge over canal with bicycles parked on it, low-rise buildings on each side, and trees along it
Utrecht is cute

A street with bicycle paths, bus ways, 5-ish storey buildings, that intersects with a minor street. There are a lot of parked bicycles, numerous of people walking and cycling, and an articulated bus
I contributed to the traffic at (one of the?) the busiest bicycle intersections in the world ๐
It's not too busy at noon on Wenesday.

a 3-storey modular building painted in different colours with greenery around it
a mixed-development 4-5 storey building with a pedestrian plaza in front of it, and steps displaying the word ALLY
a view from a train station onto a plaza that continues as a pedestrian street with many people walking
a wide bike patg with lights that intersects with a busway, in urban environment
I was told that it was not worth going to Almere, and I think they were wrong. It's a planned city that is about 40 years old, and is really interesting from the urbanist perspective. Totally destroys arguments like โEurope is old, that's why cities are coolโ.

a bicycle wheel with a bottle of sealant, a syringe, a piece of paper towel, and a valve cap, all sitting on a dusty concrete. the tire is deflated, and there are traces of white liquid on the ground and the wheel
Back to my tubeless adventures again. I can't believe the sealant dried out in *a month* after I set up the wheel: a puncture wasn't sealing because there was nothing left inside.
I couldn't have had that many punctures, could I?

a bicycle in front of a restaurant called Brasserie Aandeel
I stopped at a seemingly regular restaurant on the way, however soon I realized that most people who work there have disabilities. What a wholesome experience! Good food too.

a canal with a path next to it, that is connected to the other side via a bridge there's a white-headed cyclist ahead behind some people walking
My biggest mistake so far was coming to Giethoorn. It's overcrowded with our tourists to the point when it sucks. Reminds me of Prague.
Beautiful place though.
