Wow, the episode of #SilentWitness I just watched had an all-star cast. Jodie Comer as a child with an Essex accent, Tom Ellis playing a priest, one of the coppers from Sherlock (can't remember her name) playing a police officer and the guy in Game On who took over from Ben Chaplin. Very cool.

An odd #SilentWitness series. Shown out of sequence (hence Jack's inconsistent beard status and the lack of jeopardy when he ended up in the jug, as we all knew he got out), a finale that wasn't (odd voiceovers and all) and lazy criticism of AI.

Long-running drama series, as they run out to infinity, always tend towards obscurity, philosophising and general waffle in preference to basic plotting and drawing watchers in.
Looks like #SilentWitness, after getting increasingly up itself this season, is now headed that way.
