Another app where this happened: LocalSend. Flatseal says it already had access to xdg-downloads, but it did not. Turning on access to all userfiles (filesystem=home) did not help. I had to turn on access to all systemfiles for it to be able to send a file from my Downloads folder.

Well - we're free from Microsoft!
After a series of update failures from MS, I've left the winslop ecosystem and moved all computers to fedora.
Everything just works - even the hardware that Windows had trouble recognizing ... just ... works! :)
