The bones of a #trawler #Altmark beached 1960 but I understand the crew of 1 made it ashore ok. They appear then disappear with the shifting sands. 1st pic 2014 2nd 2022.

Sea is dead calm and t=in the middle is a Cardinal Mark or Bouy and the hills in the back is Devon.

#CardinalMark I think it signs "east" probably right for the rocks not visible. Bit of #Devon in the back there. Leaning to the left, tide coming in, leaning to the right, tide going out. But dead calm today.

Top third is the sky. Then there is the sea, a small strip and then beach and I am on the high grass bank looking down on it all.
