A bright light made her eyelids flutter. Was it fire? Were those flames still eating her, dissolving her flesh? No. That burn and pain was a ghost. This light, its shallow heat, was a kiss. She opened her eyes to the Sun upon the #horizon. It smiled down, welcoming her #rebirth.
