A small twig lies at rest as new growth rises from its center, slowly being overtaken by the surrounding foliage.
This macro shot of foliage growing inside of a broken twig has a fantasy-esque feel in the scale and perspective of small landscapes. In my mind, I see a full sized tree being reclaimed by nature emerging from its center.
