I don't think I've learned anything, per say, but I've enjoyed the month and reading everyone's answers. And as for acknowledgements, maybe my husband? I'm not sure I'd really include them at all. Seems like too much pressure to not accidently leave someone out.

Even though I couldn't participate as much as I wanted, because December was resolutely trying to kick my ass, I still got a lot out of #Smutcember. I found a whole load of new work to check out, and had interesting conversations about something I've been secretly passionate about for

I learned that apparently I'm in the minority of smut writers for writing flat-out porn (with plot); it seems like most participants write "there will be sex scenes, but it'll be a while" stories.

I learned to feel less cringe about what we write and to be a bit more bold in showing our smut to the world.
