#SophieScholl, a member of the #WhiteRose movement, was executed by guillotine by the Nazi regime. She was convicted of high treason after having been found distributing anti-war leaflets denouncing the Nazi regime and advocating peaceful, non-violent #resistance.
Hans und Sophie Scholl werden zusammen mit Christoph Probst, einem weiteren Mitglied der "WeiBen Rose", verhaftet. Vier Tage später, am 22. Februar 1943 werden die drei Studenten vor dem Volksgerichtshof zum Tode verurteilt und hingerichtet.

22 februari 1943 was de dag dat het Naziregime in München #SophieScholl (21), #HansScholl (24) en #ChristophProbst (23) ter dood veroordeelde en nog dezelfde dag executeerde met de guillotine.
Zij waren kopstukken van #DieWeißeRose, de Duitse verzetsbeweging tegen de Nazis.
Heute vor 83 Jahren wurde Sophie Scholl hingerichtet. Sie war 21. Ihr Verbrechen: Flugblätter gegen die Nazis.
Gedenken heißt nicht nur erinnern. Es heißt Haltung zeigen – auch heute.
