Historically this was Damascus Church. Spalding County. I’ve found mentions of it in the Griffin Daily News going back to 1889. Infamously in August of that year services at the church ran long and the Literary Club meeting had to be postponed. 🤭. #georgiachurch #spaldingcountyga
