(Patrons discussing a game redesign)
"What do you think of the graphics updates?"
"The new windmills? They look like wooly caterpillars."
"What! I like them!"
"I suppose if I look with my reading glasses, they... have a certain je ne sais quixote."

Did you know Fernán Caballero's novel (Q77336360) revitalized Spanish literature in the 19th century? Her works bridged Romanticism and Realism, influencing generations of writers. #SpanishLit #Romanticism #Realism
Crescent moon
The moon travels over the water
How peaceful the sky is!
It slowly erases
the reflections of the old river
and a small branch
in his hand he takes it as a mirror.

The sea has no oranges,
Sevilla has no love.
Dark-haired girl, what fiery light.
Lend me your parasol.
It will give me green cheeks
- juice of lime and lemon -
Your words– little fishes–
will swim all around us.
The sea has no oranges.
Ay, love.
Sevilla has no love!

Lithography containing the words 1000eme cœur ouvert, Marie Lannelongue, Miro, some typical Miro scramblings, and a big stylised red heart.
“Like a snake, my heart
has shed its skin.
I hold it here in my hand,
full of honey and wounds.”

Cubist still life in brown and blue nuances, showing half a guitar, a newspaper and a leafy pattern, maybe wallpaper.
“The weeping of the guitar
begins.
…
It weep’s monotonously
as water weeps
as wind weeps
over snowfields.
…
It weeps for distant
things.
Hot southern sands
yearning for white camellias.”
📚Federico Garcia Lorca, The Guitar

Can’t really describe a Dali, sorry. But there’s a windmill on the right, and something like a tower on the left, with someone in it, possibly. Also a very small Don Quixote on Rosinante at the bottom of the tower.
“Now look, your grace”, said Sancho, “what you see over there aren’t giants, but windmills..”
“Obviously”, replied Don Quixote, “you don’t know much about adventures.”
