Here starts my scientific independence as ARC DECRA investigator in Melbourne.

I decided to use the Arabidopsis - #Fusarium Pathosystem to study #PlantImmunity with spatial resolution ( #SpatialImmunity ) using #PlantMicroscopy.

So, I wrote about my idea first. My next @jxbotany.bsky.social paper:

Roughly 500 small paper bags containing individual transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana lines, placed on a laboratory bench. They are partially stacked, but cover the entire surface of the bench.

19 Laboratory Freezer Boxes neatly stacked on top of each other on the same bench. They contain almost 1400 tubes with the seeds of individual transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana lines.

Winding down my #Fusarium #SpatialImmunity Project, which I started 5 years ago in 🇦🇺. 😥

In 🇦🇺 I created >850 plant lines for the project (which FedEx lost, recovered, 2xflew back-n-forth 🇦🇺/🇩🇪), in my 2 years @mpipz.bsky.social I added another 500 lines.
