Michael Stewart on last night's #Sportscene praising St. Mirren interim manager's team's "triangles, rotations & overloads". 😞
Fair depressing tbh.
That kinda talk about #Celticfc feels like a lifetime ago. 😢
Any faith we'll turn up today in some form? 🤷😬 ❌
#SackTheBoard
Just watching Hibs beating Killie on #Sportscene.
At what stage do football shows stop inviting Neil McCann back onto their pundit panels, finally admitting he evidently doesn't have a bloody clue? 😅😅
Such a dose.
Three guys are wearing exactly the same trainers, right? #SportScene
Me waiting on the #Sportscene theme tune firing up...
Dougie Donnelly exhumed to present #Sportscene?!
At the end of this #Sportscene Scottish Championship titles animation, I was sure they were going to reveal the identity of the next Doctor. #doctorwho
Sportscene experts Cammy Bell & Marvin Bartley believe St Mirren's Toyosi Olusanya should have been sent off in their 3-0 loss to Celtic. #Sportscene https://fefd.link/5MHey
#Sportscene: Road to the World Cup special felt like a missed opportunity. It could have been an hour long doc profiling Scotland's games with analysis. Instead it just had video clips & Liam McLeod's 'commentary'. Can #BBCScotland not do better for the World Cup?

I know the big two, and even Hearts v Rangers, are playing the morra but it's still pretty pish that BBC1 Scotland schedules #motd before #sportscene
Predictable stuff. Neil McCann 'analyses' two wonderful Dundee United goals against Rangers solely in terms of the weakness of Rangers defence. #Sportscene
Sutherland still a foot shorter than the panel, even with his platform PVC gumboots. #sportscene #scogre
Never knew Greg Taylor was working as a chef over there. #sportscene
#Sportscene at 7.15pm.
"Highlights" is massive stretch for the #Celticfc game.
- But Dundee derby too?
- Also how a Hibs xG of 2.53 only got them a 1-1 draw vs St. Mirren?
- And Falkirk beating Aberdeen?
Might stick it on at half past or later 🙈🙈
Let's hope they're back on #Sportscene today!
A special sketch at the start of Sportscene’s 50th birthday episode sees Stephen “Thommo” Thomson struggling to read a link. The cleaner notices that Thommo is nervous and tells him to loosen up, but Thommo continues to fluff his lines.
The cleaner then takes over, and reveals himself to be legendary former presenter Dougie Donnelly.
The desk, which last week had a portrait of Donnelly, now features small pictures of former Sportscene presenters Dougie “Deacon Blue” Vipond and Hazel Irvine.
Ok this all makes sense now lol. #Sportscene celebrated its 50th birthday last night with a special episode featuring the returns of Dougie Donnelly (71) & Archie Macpherson (90(!))
Worth a watch if you’re missing the football (and forgot that some football exists outwith the English Super League).
#Sportscene at 50 was superbly presented by Dougie Donnelly: head & shoulders above any of the present gang. A good touch acknowledging the historic contribution of Archie Macpherson. But overall I felt the past football segments were the weakest part & let down the programme.
Dougie Vipond’s gonna appear at the end and sing them out #sportscene
No such thing as a Fife derby you Muppets. #Sportscene #BBCScotland ⚽
Voices of the Fitba! Assemble! 😂

#Sportscene Commentator on Pressley at Dundee:
"Not necessarily a popular appointment in some quarters of the Dundee fan base".
Well... Aye. 😅😅

I actually miss an anguished Neil
McCann on #Sportscene tormented by #Rangers underperformance ☺️

Alan Partridge is surrounded by a load of people he doesn’t like, and one of them keeps talking about American things. He wants to watch his VHS tape of World’s Strongest Man, and tries to shout out over them: “Stop talking about American things and let’s watch the best show ever made.”
Me trying to drown out all the #SuperBowl chat by watching the extended #Sportscene highlights of Rangers vs. Queen’s Park.
The Scottish Cup is one of the great trophies anywhere. #Sportscene really did it a disservice with Alan Stubbs & Stephen Craigan offering little football analysis of the games but just general observations. Not really good enough for such a historic trophy.
