Following a switch to more northerly winds, overland movement was minimal with today's sightings but another Red-rumped Swallow flew north past the lighthouse and a Great Northern Diver flew north past The Sea Watch Hut (1/3). #Spurnbirds

My morning walk along the gas terminal rocks in Easington was interrupted by a shout from Spurn when this Great Reed Warbler was trapped. Very welcome as I’ve been abroad when the last couple turned up, so thanks once again to the ringers #spurnbirds
