Getting to be frustrating that @BCGovFireInfo is not updating the #BCWildfire map for reserves hours or days after orders posted. Happened with #Squilax & #AdamsLake (orders listed now) & now #Tsalalh.

With fires before, #Indigenous communities were told to rely on that app.

#BCWildfire finally updated the map to include the Evac orders for #Secwépemc Skwlāx (#Squilax) Quaaout & #AdamsLake Sahhaltkum reserves, only just now (half a day after orders were posted).

Dangerous & frustrating. The evac orders for Skwlāx-Quaaout IR & Adams Lake-Sahhaltkum IR Secwépemc communities aren't listed on the #BCWildfire Service map & the #ShuswapEmergencyProgram map is still not even showing the #ChaseBC orders & alerts. No news updates on #Squilax.

Still no new updates on #Squilax, #Celista, #LeeCreek, and #ScotchCreek after CSRD, Skwlāx te SecwepemcúÍecw, and Adams Lake band issued evac orders and after water evacuations needed due to Scotch Creek bridge closure yesterday....
