She leans forward, towards Jesus, in an active listening pose; their heads are at the same level. The leaves of a tree are visible above the woman's head in the top left corner. Above Jesus' head in the top right corner is Jerusalem in the distance - a city on a hill. Below the city, above Christ's left shoulder, is a just barely discernable group of disciples.
